OK, what is supercasting and why would you want your bath to be Supercast ?
There are two main processes
- Extra layers of glassfibre combination matting is applied to the entire underside of bath.
- A tough polyester heat retaining finishing coat is applied to the entire underside of bath.
The Benefits
- A bath that is far more rigid overall.
- Less flexing away from any sealant used between bath and wall as part of the installation.
- Heat retention properties will also be better to allow yourself to relax in your whirlpool bath enjoying that well deserved soak for longer without the need to top up with hot water so soon.
Our own Japanese Style Deep Soak Baths manufactured at our Fareham plant are supercast as standard within the manufacturing process and have all the enhanced properties mentioned above.
